- Integrated and evaluated Whisper, Parakeet, and Cohere Transcribe for local speech recognition. Directed Apple Silicon inference optimization, including quantization, encoder bucketing, graph caching, and prewarming, measured against transcription accuracy, stop-to-paste latency, memory, and long-recording reliability.
- Developed local speaker diarization and word-level attribution using Sortformer and TitaNet embeddings, including ownership preservation through transcript cleanup. Implemented durable speaker-analysis jobs, cancellation and recovery, plus experimental remembered-voice suggestions requiring user confirmation.
- Developed an experimental on-device English correction pipeline using LFM2.5-230M, fine-tuned on curated correction examples and quantized for local GGUF inference. Evaluated useful corrections and meaning changes, with original-transcript retention, complete-output checks, deadlines, and fallback behavior; remains opt-in and unreleased.
